  6. Just though you might want to know,
  7.     Tonight, the 17th , I saw a great segment on Beyond 2000, a program on 
  8. the Discovery channel, about the 3DO.  They showed a lot of footage of CNB, 
  9. some SW footage (which looked much better than the CNB footage, most likely 
  10. direct feed), some parts of the first sampler, discussed the open 
  11. platform concept of 3DO, and it's pilgrimage to become a standard in the 
  12. video game industry.  The segment started out with the main host playing     
  13. some CNB and giving rave reviews of how this is the most powerfull system 
  14. out, most likely it was was when they made that segment, and talking about 
  15. some of their partners.  I think that the segment was kinda dated because they     
  16. mentioned AT&T as a hardware developer, has this Beyond 2000 been on 
  17. before?  Anyways, it was some great publicity for the 3DO and they ONLY said     
  18. positive statements about the system.  I was pretty psyched, this is     
  19. better than any 30 sec. commercial IMHO, even though commercials 
  20. are viewed by many more people.  They started the 10 minute segment by 
  21. stating stay tuned for "the hottest new CD based entertainment system".
